Carlton Town Lions 5 – 2 Toton Tigers Orange

The Carlton Lions’ machine keeps rolling on! Another fine win for the Lions against Toton – that’s 6 points taken off them to keep The Lions up in 2nd place.

Carlton started the brighter of the two teams and goal machine Dan Chambers was on target once again.

Carlton had lots of space and were able to dictate the pace of play and were on target again with Dan Chambers grabbing his second.

Sam Heason made a penalty save to keep the score at 2-0.

Marcus Barton continued with his goal-every-game form to make it 3-0 at half time.

Second half and again Carlton were playing some lovely football which tested the away keeper but Toton started to get into the game and pinched a goal back which gave them the belief to push for a 2nd but Carlton had other ideas with Ousman Sagnia scoring his 7th in 9 games.

Toton pulled another back to make it 4-2 but Dan Chambers’ great form completed another hattrick to finish the game 5-2 to The Lions.
