David James kick off 2014 with stunning January sales!

Year-on-year sales have increased by 260% and this looks to be the start of an extremely busy year for the housing market as a whole as well as for the company individually. Not only are we seeing more sales being agreed but the spread of properties selling is across the whole of the housing market meaning that this recovery is not driven from either the top or bottom and all elements of the market are seeing a benefit.

Schemes such as Help to Buy have begun to bear fruit, but more than anything they have brought a confidence back to the housing industry that has been missing in recent years and this can only be a positive sign.

“Having analysed increasing activity in the housing market over the last 4-6 months we predicted that January would give us a strong start to the year but we never anticipated just how strongly the market would pick up, especially so quickly after the return to work in the new year. Common consensus is that we are going to be in for an extremely busy year!”
