Carrington is a small suburb of Nottingham. It is approximately 1.3 miles north of Nottingham city centre and sits nestled against the Mapperley Park conservation area. Carrington is known to have some fine examples of Victorian and Edwardian architecture. Carrington is served by a good range of amenities with many local shops and restaurants to be found on Mansfield Road in Carrington and neighbouring Sherwood. Conveniently for car owners there is a petrol station close by. However, the biggest advantage is that food shopping is very convenient as there is a supermarket a short walk away on Hucknall Road and a Lidl situated on Mansfield Road.
