Carlton Town Lions 1 – 3 Eastwood Community

Carlton Town Lions 1 – 3 Eastwood Community
Carlton Town Lions and Eastwood Community FC produced a good opening game of the season that in truth either team could have won. In the end, Eastwood took their chances and gained the victory with the game ending 3-1.

The Lions started brightly and were unlucky not to take the lead in the first 20 minutes. Eastwood hit back and went ahead only for The Lions to get back on level terms through Connor Pauley.

The second half started all even until Eastwood began to break through Lions’ midfield and scored twice to gain the win with Joe Newton, James Hallam and Callum McGarry finishing with a goal each for the opposition.

The Lions can be pleased with their performance which showed much promise for the future.
