Carlton Town Lions 10 – 0 Wollaton Hall

A cup game for the Lions and a time for the manager John Kilcullen to use the depths of his squad with new signing Keba Drame starting in the midfield.

The first half began slow with Carlton failing to get any rhythm going. The Lions showed slow movement and passing yet had a lot of possession but never made any clear cut chances until a good run from one side of the pitch to the other from Ousman Sagnia and a one-two with Jordan Percival ended in a perfect cross for new signing Keba Drame to put it past the keeper to make it 1-0 at halftime.

In the second half after a team talk, Carlton started to move the ball faster and with purpose and it wasn’t long before they got the second with Ousman Sagnia scoring for the Lions to make it 2-0.

Wollaton’s heads dropped and Carlton upped their game and started to show their class going on to score 8 more with goals from Dan Chambers, Ousman Cham, Marcus Barton, Bailey Kilcullen, Ansu Gaye, Ousman Sagnia and two from Connor Pauley.
