Carlton Town Lions 2 – 9 Basford United

Carlton Town came up against league leaders Basford United so this match was a good test for the home team to see how they are progressing.

At a glance, the score line does not look pretty but overall, Carlton had numerous chances with some controversial decisions from the linesman being made which could have took the Lions out of the game.
Daniel Chambers managed to bag his sixth goal of the season and Macauleigh Mackvickas came off the bench to add another.

New signings Joe Scott and Harry Lyons turned out for the Lions with the man of the match being named as Marcus Roberts Barton.
