Carlton Town Lions 6 – 0 Lowdham Colts Red

Another must win game for The Lions to keep the push for the top two alive.

It was a slow, sluggish start to the game for Carlton but they finally got their break with some nice quick football to send top scorer Dan Chambers through to open the scoring. 1-0.

Carlton were never in any danger with Marcus Barton grabbing a second for The Lions to take it to 2-0 at the halftime whistle.

In the second half, Carlton started to use the width more to attack Lowdham down the wings which paid off with Dan Chambers getting the third to make it 3-0.

The game was all Carlton’s with Pauley carrying on his scoring streak with his eighth in five games for the Lions.

Marcus Barton went on to grab his second of the game and Man of the Match Bailey Kilcullen netted the sixth to finish the scoring and make it 6-0 at the final whistle.
