David James were delighted to support this years Mapperley Scarecrow Festival in association with What’s On Mapperley and the Co-op.
The event took place throughout May and saw Mapperley residents invited to create their own scarecrow to display at home and be added to a map which enabled everyone to follow and go in search of the neighbourhood scarecrows.
We sponsored the community scarecrow catagory and donated a £50 voucher for the winner to spend at a Mapperley business of their choice.
Of course we couldn’t miss the chance to take part!

DRUM ROLL* FIRST PRIZE WENT TO…
Malcom and Tad Idle who won first prize in the public vote in the What’s On Mapperley Facebook group. Malcom chose Copper Mapperley as his Mapperley business for the £50 voucher.
