Lowdham Colts Black 1 – 6 Carlton Town Lions

Carlton Town Lions finally got their season up and running with a good solid display against Lowdham Colts.

Carlton went behind in the first 10 minutes but stayed composed and reacted well. Two goals from Brendan O’Donnell, a goal from Daniel Chambers and another from Brahima Ceesay put the Lions 4-1 up at half time.

In the second half Lowdham looked to reduce the damage but Carlton had the quality to see the game out with two more goals from Daniel Chambers and Keba Drame.

Some solid displays all over the pitch with a good performance from the midfield. Owen Dilks shone against a difficult winger and a strong display was put in from goalkeeper Sam Heason after taking an early knock.
