Lowdham Colts Red 1 – 5 Carlton Town Lions

After a slow start on a heavy pitch, Carlton needed to press on in their hunt for promotion.

Carlton took the lead through top scorer Dan Chambers from a corner kick putting him on his 20th of the season!

Carlton started to get a hold of the game in the middle of the park with Marcus Barton and Ousman Cham and not long after, another corner fell nicely to Connor Pauley to smash it into the net.

Lowdham then managed to pull a goal back on the stroke of halftime.

In the second half, Carlton started to play some neat, tidy football with Dan Chambers going on to net another to take his tally up to 21 and make it 3-1.

Another corner for Carlton and up stepped Harry Lyons to make it 4-1. With Carlton now cruising, the game was nearing an end but with time for one more corner, Connor Pauley volleyed into the net to make it 5-1.

The Lions move up to 2nd in the table with all to play for!
