Teversal 4 – 3 Carlton Town Lions

A big game for Carlton to stop Teversal’s unbeaten start to the season.

In the first half, Carlton were the first to draw blood with yet again Dan Chambers powering home a thundering shot to make it 1-0. Carlton were dictating play but on a rare break, Teversal broke free and put the ball into the far corner to draw level.

Ousman Sagnia was on target yet again for the Lions with a sweet left foot strike past the keeper to make it 2-1. Carlton started to create lots of chances but were failing to convert them.

Teversal started to get involved in the game and pulled level to make it 2-2 and once again slipped the defence to easily score to make it 3-2. Like always, Carlton came back with a response with Dan chambers getting his second to make it 3-3 at half time.

The second half was a good contest but didn’t involve too many clear chances. Carlton had a goal ruled out for offside but it was Teversal in the last 5 minutes who sealed the game with a 30 yard strike that dipped over the Carlton keeper which led them to take the points.
